This event, part of the IOP DOMAINS CPD series of events, will provide advice on teaching Newton’s Laws.

Despite being a core part of school physics courses developing a good understanding of Newton’s Laws and being able to apply them well has been shown to be very difficult for many pupils. This event will explore the difficulties pupils are likely to have and discuss strategies to overcome these difficulties.

Ahead of the event it will be advantageous for all participants to have watched the IOP DOMAINS CPD Forces videos (ages 14-16) on IOP Spark at https://spark.iop.org/collections/iop-domains-forces-cpd.

During the event there will be opportunities to ask questions about issues raised in the videos as well as to and raise any concerns you might have about teaching forces.

Registration for the event will close at lunchtime on the day of the event. Login details will be emailed to registered delegates on the day of the event. Please check junk mail folders if you have not received login details before the event. Contact [email protected] if you have a problem.
