We are delighted to invite you to an evening of physics storytelling with Richard Brock and Ben Rogers.

During his teaching career, Richard collected a huge number of stories, anecdotes and facts to bring the discipline alive to his students. Together with Richard, we created the Stories from Physics series of booklets to share his stories more widely with teachers of physics. Themed around the physics domains of our teacher resources website IOPSpark, the stories will appeal to anyone who loves physics, the history of physics or the people who do physics.

Join Richard (now a researcher in physics education) as he shares some of his collection of amazing, amusing and enlightening stories. He will be introduced by Ben Rogers, author of The Big Ideas in Physics and How to Teach Them and who will be discussing the importance of telling stories when teaching physics.

Plus drinks, nibbles and great company.

This event is free to attend, but please do register to let us know you will be coming.
