The Supporting Physics Teaching (SPT) resource is extensive. Each topic represents in excess of one person-year of authoring time.

So I’d expect it to take you a fair while for anyone to get to grips with any one topic.

Maybe the best strategy is not to download the lot and promise yourself to get around to it one day, but to grab one and then see what promises that holds, across the three facets that loom when considering developing your teaching: the Physics Narrative, the Teaching and Learning Issues and the Teaching Approaches

      .

It’s also worth pointing out that the resources, whilst aimed at teachers, contain significant numbers of carefully crafted multimedia objects that can be extracted and used in classrooms – probably on a data projector or interactive whiteboard.
