We (a group of teachers from different schools in the UK and Europe)  are currently running such projects plus others under the banner of integrated STEM+ projects

For example currently we are running projects designing and building Dragsters, Rockets, Gliders and Prosthetic arms (para Olympic games linked).

We are also linked in to the Bloodhound Rocket car project, ( they are offering free Rocket cars, cpd and support for schools who can sign up their year 7 cohort for the Autumn) . The Project is suitable for a club but the aim is to run integrated STEM projects within the daily taught curriculum.

If you are interested in getting involved you’d be very welcome. The iSTEM+ Project is supported by the IET and recognised by the National STEM Centre and new physics Projects have been know to attract a grant from the IoP!
